Our Story
Parkway Auto Care has been a trusted name in automotive service since 1991, when Ron Alcorn first opened its doors. Back then, diagnosing vehicle issues meant looking under the hood, but as automotive technology evolved, so did Parkway. With the addition of computer modules controlling everything from brakes to heating and cooling systems, Parkway Auto Care grew into a state-of-the-art facility. Ron’s sons, Spencer and Blake, joined the family business, and together they expanded to six service bays, equipped with advanced technology and a highly skilled team of ASE Certified Technicians.
In 2021, Ron passed the torch to Nick Stoffel, who brought his passion for automotive service and years of experience to Parkway Auto Care. Ron’s sons remain an integral part of the team as Service Advisors, and Nick retained the talented technicians who have been the backbone of the business.
Nick’s roots in the automotive industry run deep. After managing Lloyd’s Automotive, a long-standing repair facility in St. Paul, since 2005, Nick became its owner in 2021. His career began at just 15 years old and continued after graduating from Highland Park High School in 1995. Following his service in the U.S. Marines, Nick attended Dunwoody Institute of Technology, where he refined his technical skills before joining the team at Lloyd’s Automotive.
Today, Parkway Auto Care continues to thrive under Nick’s leadership, combining decades of experience, cutting-edge technology, and a commitment to exceptional service for every customer.

Environmentally Friendly Auto Care
At Parkway Auto Care, we are committed to protecting the environment while providing top-quality automotive service. We responsibly recycle vehicle oil, coolant, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluids, oil filters, batteries, and tires. Whenever possible, we use recycled paper for invoices, statements, and financial records, and we offer recycled auto parts as a cost-saving option, provided they meet our strict quality and safety standards.
Our facility is designed to operate efficiently and sustainably. With 64 solar panels installed on our roof, we generate as much clean energy as possible, reducing our reliance on traditional energy sources. By minimizing heating, cooling, and electrical costs, we not only reduce our environmental footprint but also pass these savings on to our customers.
At Parkway Auto Care, we’re proud to combine environmentally friendly practices with the same care and commitment we show to every customer who walks through our doors.
